The drought we suffer represents our new climatic reality. But the real problem in Spain is not drought, it is chronic scarcity of the water.
And the only cause is poor water management. There is no water to so much demand. If this situation, usually temporary, is accompanied due to great heats, strong winds and marked evaporation – at the moment it is not our situation-, we will find ourselves facing a progressive drought.
The most important thing is to be aware of the importance of taking care of the water, not only when there is drought, but always, since we must not forget that it is a vital and exhaustible resource.
